My list of thing I need to do in London - progress!

When I first started up my personal blog I created a list of 30 things I wanted to do in London while living here as a student. Since then only more things have sprung to mind as to what I've desperately got to try and I've discovered more things over my first year of university with inspiration and ideas from friends too. Back in November I told myself I'd be sure to post an update of how I've got on with this before the end of 2015 but December kind of ran away from me...
So here it is, my list of things I need to do in London and the progress so far, with a few more additions on the end I'll be sure to have done by the end of 2016!

So I was almost halfway through completing my list before my latest additions crept on...
#31 Coffee, Cocktails and Nails at London Grace, Putney.
http://londongrace.co.uk
Following a little Instagram 'browsing' session my housemate came across a very cute looking nail salon in Putney so hopefully it won't be long before we make it over to SW London and tie in a visit here with seeing the deer in Richmond Park.
#32 See a film at the Odeon in Leicester Square
So during 2015 Now You See Me 2 with the beautiful Dave Franco was filmed on our university campus and the film only happens to be released on my birthday - the 9th June! and so I'm desperate to go and watch it here at the Odeon in Leicester Square!
#33 Get a summer internship or work experience in the city.
#34 Go to Blackheath Fireworks
We missed out on the fireworks at Blackheath this year as two of us in the house were away for the weekend but we're so fortunate to only be living a 15/20 minute walk from Blackheath common we really must go this year!

Still, I've got a year and a half left of university and I've already been planning with my housemates weekends out at the end of the month and in February to get some more of these ticked off my list! But for now I'll conclude with sharing a few of the photos from this year and the most recent outings and experiences I've had!

#11 Go to the British Museum - So this may be a cheat one but I've certainly been... Back in November my housemate Jemima and I volunteered for Cancer Research at one of their fundraising evenings at the British Museum and it sure was an incredible venue to see and work in...

#25 Go on the Emirates Cable Car - Back at the start of October just before my sister turned the big 21, she same up to stay at my house in London and we got up to all sorts including a trip across the Thames on the Emirates Cable Car after a day at the Cake and Bake Show at the London ExCeL... (Now that I would definitely recommend attending too!)
#28 Go to Oxford Street to see the Christmas lights be turned on! - So around November time my Auntie and little cousin came up to see me for a little shopping on Oxford Street and to see the lights get turned on for the first time. I have to say I have never seen crowds in Central London like it before. It's almost as if you have to choose a good spot from around 4.30pm in the afternoon and wait for the lights switch on for a good couple hours before a scramble to the tube station after all the commotion has finished. The council do well to try and crowd manage but it doesn't work so well in the favour of shoppers still going at half four who are suddenly being told they can't pass and have to use the back streets to get around instead... How I certainly would NOT want to be working on Oxford Street that day, you'd never be out of work on time... Still despite my moaning the lights are still as pretty as always!
Until next time!
Thanks for reading, Little Izzie x
